Musee Picasso, Paris – the best online documentary

Publié par le 15 h 32 min sous France

I put this piece together for my mother, a big fan of Picasso's work. Since she hasn't yet gotten around to visiting the Picasso Museum in the Marais Quarter of Paris, I finally decided to edit some old footage I shot there years ago, and bring the museum to her. She gave me the beautiful classical guitar music for most of the soundtrack – played by the incomparable Andres Segovia. As most of the lighting conditions for videotaping the artwork itself was quite poor, consider this more an impression of the MUSEUM and just a sample of the extraordinarily wide range of Picasso's long career. A master of practically every medium he worked in, from painting to sculpture, from ceramics to collage, his influence can be felt in art everywhere today.
